We invite!

Every year, we invite choreographers to participate in our project. The participation is a gift to the project and a gift to the dancers, while at the same time a wonderful opportunity for the choreographers to make new contacts, try out new ideas while being presented in new venues.

2016 Guests Artists 

Giuseppe Casiero  began studying classical ballet and modern dance at the age of 4 in Puglia, Italy.

 

In 2008 he received a scholarship for three years Professional Training in Classical Ballet at "Scuola del Balletto di Toscana" of Florence, under the artistic direction of Cristina Bozzolini; 

 

Since 2009 made his professional debut performing with the Company "Junior Balletto di Toscana", dancing on tour in Italy and France in choreographies by August Bournonville, Mauro Bigonzetti, Eugenio Scigliano, Michele Merola and Alessandro Bigonzetti.

 

In 2012 he worked for several productions with the "Florence Dance Company" in Italy Artistic Director Keith Ferrone. 

 

Over the years he attended numerous workshops and master classes in Italy, Spain, Belgium and Germany with choreographers such as Luca Masala, Robert North, Frederic Olivieri, Paul Chalmer, Christiane Marchant, Laszlo Nijakas, Pascal Touzeau, Carlos Prado, Mauro Astolfi, Eugenio Buratti, Hans Henning Paar and Francesco Nappa, and was invited as a guest dancer in several Italian Dance Gala, including "DanzAscoli " and "Pollino Dance Festival". 

 

He has been working in the season 2013/2014 with the Ballet Company of  "Nordharzer Städtebund Theater" in Germany, as dancer and soloist, in productions like Giselle, Les Sylphides/Chopiniana, SnowWhite, 4 Temperaments, Evita, My Fair Lady, Hair and many others, under the Artistic Director Jaroslaw Jurasz. 

 

In the same season, he debut as a choreographer making for the Company "SÄRMÄ", contemporary ballet".

 Floris Dahlgrün was born in Berlin and grew up in Sweden. During his school years, he developed a keen interest in drama and gained early first stage and film experience.

 

Since the age of 16 years he is intensively engaged in dance of different styles, eventually turning his focus to contemporary dance. In 2010 he choreographed his first solo "Five Sounds and a Dance"  in Stockholm, for which he also composed the music. In the same year he moved to Berlin where he began his training to become a professional dancer and  in 2013 he graduated with a degree in stage dance. During the dance program he developed not only choreographies that have been presented in the annual school performances, but also created dance-video performances which have been performed in Berlin.

 

Since 2014 Floris works as a freelance dancer.

 

Floris has been part of numerous opera productions. He danced for example in "Manon Lescaut" in Deutschen Oper Berlin, which was also performed as a guest performance in Royal Opera House of Oman. In 2015 worked with choreographer Golde Grunske for the production "arrive ...". He was also engaged at the Theater Basel ("Daphne") and at the Aalto Theater in Essen ("The Love for Three Oranges") as a guest dancer.

 

That same year, Floris danced with the Crossover Projekt. This coming year, he will create a new work with the new dancers of the Crossover Projekt.

Michael Schnizler  was born in Reutlingen. He completed his dance education at the Academy of Music and Art Heidelberg-Mannheim (1998/1999),  the University of the Arts in Arnhem (1999/2000) and in 2004 at the Folkwang University.

 

He was seen performing at the Ruhr Triennale, at the Staatsoper Hamburg and the theaters of Bonn ("House of the Dead", "Pinocchio", "La Cage aux Folles") Dortmund, Chemnitz, Lübeck ("La vida breve", "Carmen ") and food (" La Traviata "," the Love for Three Oranges "), to name a few.

 

He also works as a choreographer ("The Wall", "4X25") and educator at the Hamburg Conservatory and at various schools.

 

 Mona Isabell Suck was born and raised in Hamburg. She started taking ballet classes at the age of 15 and discovered her passion for contemporary dance two years later. Upon finishing her formal school education she decided to participate in a professional dance program at the Contemporary Dance School Hamburg, which she successfully completed in July 2014.

 

Already during the program and since graduation, Mona gained some stage experience with international choreographers and video artists, such as Johanna Bruckner (Austria), Tomislav Jelicic (Kroatia), Fiona Gordon (England), Kristofer Weinstein-Storey (USA), Ursina Tossi (Germany) and Filip Van Huffel (Belgium).

 

Mona continues to live and work in Hamburg, where she also teaches dance.

In 2015, Mona participated in the Crossover Projekt as a dancer and performed in the works of Theresa von Hunoltstein, Isabel Gotzkowsky, Dagmar Spain and Jon Zimmerman. For 2016, she was invited to be a guest choreographer.

As in every year, Artistic Director Isabel Gotzkowsky will create a new work will all the Crossover dancers.
